January Updates

Bob’s is off to a great start to 2019! We have already started the year with a new product, 10 degree wedges, and have some new product updates coming out that we are excited to announce soon!

But the big news is our move across town! We have actively started moving operations into our new building, and will be fulled moved in by March 2019. This growth is allowing us to add more CNC mills, employees, reduce lead times, and spend more time creating the new ‘next big thing’ in the marine world!

Please stay tuned as we post more, and can’t wait to post up full renovated pictures of the facility in the coming months!!

Bob’s Extreme series undergoes engineering changes for new motors

Bob’s is proud to announce we have made significant engineering changes to our already popular Extreme series jack plates, and now are on the 3rd Generation of them.

The Extreme Series launched 10 years ago and was the first jack plate rated for the 350 HP Yamaha V8s.  As time went out they were revised into the Gen2 series that is wider for Verado’s and rated to 400HP motors.  Now with the new Yamaha 425, and lineup of Mercury 4 strokes with huge torque gains, we have again redesigned the Extreme in the Gen3 series with new material and manufacturing processes to make them even stronger.  Now rated to 550hp and 1000+ lbs motors, Bobs is again the first to be ready to lift the heaviest of outboards quickly to give that improved holeshot, top speed, and fuel economy gains that we all love on all motors.  And for boaters that have the 7marine 627HP motors, we have that covered to with our specific 7 Marine jack plate that was released over 3 years ago!

When it comes to the latest in engineering and technology, look no further than Bobs Machine.  www.bobsmachine.com

Fishing news

Summer is heating us and fishing couldn’t be better!  Around here in Florida people are pulling donkeys out of Okeechobee and all the lakes in fact!

Bassmaster trails have been great for Team Bobs recently, with Bassfest Bob’s pros Jacob Wheeler 2nd place finish and Cliff Pace 3rd place finish.  Last week on Sabine Bobs pro Keith Poche grabbing 3rd!

Over at the FLW Tour, last month on Kentucky Lake Bobs pro Scott Martin grabbed 2nd place and St Clair is right around the corner!

Ronnie McCoy wins FLW Costa on Santee Cooper!

Congrats to friend and prostaffer Ronnie McCoy!  Team Bobs has been on a roll on the FLW Costa tour!

Spending most of his time in the shallows, Ronnie says his Bob’s Action jack plate was put through the ringer and had no issues and helped him get up and on plane in the skinny waters.

Welcome Dean Rojas to the Team

Pro angler Dean Rojas has made some major moves this year, including moving to Bobs Machine Jack Plates!  Other moves include Blazer Boats, and Suzuki outboards.  Dean is a 20 year veteran and 15 time Bass Master Classic qualifier. He still holds the record for the largest single day bag with 5 fish for 45.2 pounds. With winnings totaling over $2 million Dean brings a wealth of experience to the team.

He will be running a Bob’s Action series jack plate that is satin black with red accents to tie into his Suzuki motor and wrap theme!
