I used this intake for a raw water pump i mounted to the stern / transom of my bay boat for wash down purposes. the porevious owner of the boat had wired a surface mount bilge pump which I never need to use – the scuppers are good enough for my deck……the raw water hose is huge for the mess my green crabbing hobby makes of the deck every 5 days or so……
works great, perfect for what I needed.
