High-performance boaters use jack plates for more speed, better fuel economy and improved boat handling. In recent years, jacks have also become popular with fishermen and pleasure boaters who operate in shallow water.

Mini Jacs come in three models:  The standard version weighs 28 pounds and has same dimensions as BMS’s regular jack plates.  It fits the standard BIA bolt pattern and provides 6″ of hydraulic lift.

Mini Jacs also come in a narrower width for smaller boats with clamp-on style motors.  This model weighs 18 pounds but still provides 6″ of lift.

The smallest Mini Jac weighs only 18 pounds and works well with small, Gheenoe-style boats with clamp-on engines.  This model supplies 4″ of hydraulic lift and handles engines up to 40 hp.  All Mini Jacs come with a 5-1/2″ setback.

Bob’s Machine Shop’s jack plates use hi-tech bearings that will not absorb water.  They also feature automobile-type grease fittings – a unique feature among jack plates.  All BMS hydraulic pumps are mounted inside the boat to lower the overall weight on the transom and minimize exposure, especially in saltwater.

SET OF STACKABLE SPACERS (6) FOR TILT & TRIM/CLAMP ON ENGINE

These are a great solution for clamp on motors that don’t screw down far enough to grab a jack plate, tilt trim, or thin transom.  Much better looking and stronger than a piece of wood that is commonly seen!

**Some motors clamps do not go down far enough to grab the structure of the jack.  In the past many people use a piece of wood for this, which works, but is ugly.  Looks at our stackable spacer “pucks” as an option.  You can use the amount needed for your motors clamps and keep your boat looking good!

Bob’s Machine Shop’s Versa Jac jack plate line, offers new technology in the Jack Plate market.  The first & only jack plate to offer an upgrade kit for boaters to convert to Hydraulic at a later date!

Made of high-quality, aircraft-grade aluminum, the patent pending Versajac has the same look as Bob’s popular line of hydraulic jacks. It is rated for engines up to 50 hp and is available in 5.5″ setback. Adjusting the jackplate for optimum results is easily done while the boat is in the water. When it’s time to upgrade from manual to all-hydraulic operation, converting the jack is simple. Using a few basic hand tools, remove the Versajac’s manual screw assembly and swap it out for the new hydraulic cylinder kit. Then install the pump inside the boat. All BMS’s hydraulic pumps are designed to mount inside for longevity and protection from the elements. Jack plates have “limited lifetime warranty” and pumps have a 5 year warranty (excluding water damage).
